CLEAR GAME INFORMATION
Upon completion of your first game of ONIMUSHA: WARLORDS, you will be given a letter-grade rank of your performance in the game. This ranking is based upon a combination of three basic elements: the total play time, the total number of souls collected and the number of demons killed. The number of Fluorite stones collected determines whether secret trailers and mini-games will be unlocked, and adds them as options to the main menu. The number of levels cleared in the Dark Realm Arena are also displayed, but does not affect your overall ranking. The following tables break down ranking into its individual parts, and then show how final ranking is determined.

SUPERIOR RANKING
To achieve an S ranking, you must finish the game in less than 3 hours, kill 600 or more demons and collect 55,000 or more souls. We suggest that you develop your skills, kill every demon you encounter, and keep crossing back and forth through each area until it seems like no more demons are going to show up for now. After reaching new areas, backtrack to previous locations to find new demons. Skip through all the CG cinemas using the START button, and Pause your game by pressing the SELECT button any time you need to refer to the manual or leave the game momentarily. At the end of the game, skip the cinemas before and after the fight with Fortinbras, and also skip the credits and closing shot. These things will greatly reduce your game time and make it easier to get the required numbers of kills and souls needed to achieve a Superior ranking. When you do, the Kaede Extra becomes available. This is a really cute costume for Kaede, including little bat wings!

SPECIAL TRAILER
Recording a clear game data, a new menu called “Special Feature” is opened. One of the things that becomes unlocked in this menu is the Special Trailer. This is a two minute preview of the next chapter in the ONIMUSHA saga.

SAMANOSUKE EXTRA
Find at least 10 Fluorite stones while playing ONIMUSHA and record a clear game data afterward. The Samanosuke Extra costume will become available. Now you can start up a new game, and a sub menu allows you to choose between Samanosuke’s regular costume and this new one.

Our favorite samurai is now fully costumed in a theme-park panda suit, complete with a cute little baby panda tucked into the pouch. If you think this is too funny wait until you see what the gauntlet looks like! Use the L2 Button to flip the costume’s head on and off.

KAEDE EXTRA
Complete the game with a Superior (S) ranking, and the Kaede Extra costume will be available. Kaede looks very cute in here Chinese princess outfit, complete with flipping bat wings.

ONI SPIRITS MINI-GAME
Collect all 20 pieces of Fluorite during the game, and this special mini-game will be unlocked. “Oni Spirits” is twelve levels of fast paced pot-smashing action, where you must smash the required number of pots before enemies smash them. Samanosuke’s life drains as he remains on the sacred ground, and you must smash the required number of pots and collect useful items from the red boxes before your completely run put of life. The game teeters from astoundingly easy to impossibly difficult, so have fun!
