Replay mode
When you complete the game, one of five endings will appear. An extra menu will now be available at the title screen, which allows you to view the percentage completed for every chapter. You can also start the completed game over again at the beginning to try to do better.

Restore energy units
If you begin running out of energy units, allow yourself to die. The moment you are brought back to life, you will get an energy unit for free. For example, if you let yourself die five times in a row you will get five energy units for free. Do this trick each time you begin a new chapter.

Extra ending
Unlock all five normal endings. A special prologue will appear, allowing you to play again and unlock the "Extra" ending.

FMV sequences
Complete the game to unlock a FMV sequence from the Spring 2000 Tokyo Games Show. Control loading screen

Birdskulls
To get the ten Birdskulls, you must first have the assassin's rifle. After getting the assault rifle, go to the beginning of the path that leads you to Netti's church. You will see a hut. Turn right and you should see another hut that has/had a Cadeaux in it. Go around it and you will see lots of barrels. Back up slightly and shoot them from a safe distance with the assassin's rifle. A path will open. Follow the path until you reach a lake with birds flying around and a few crocodiles. Kill the crocodiles before going any further. The birds flying around carry the Birdskulls (one each). Kill ten of them. Note: One of the birds only flies around once in a while so it is difficulty to kill it. Every bird that you kill in this area will drop a birdskull into the water. You must swim to get it. The birdskulls never disappear. In the event that they drop one on a boat, forget about it: you cannot go on top of them. If this happens the game will send you an extra bird.

Cadeaux
When trying to get the second Sigil in Gehenna, instead of trying to balance on the wall to cross the room, just pull the switch to raise the wall sections. Then, wait near the switch for the walls to descend. While the wall is descending, wait for it to be low enough to jump on and quickly jump to the higher platform. Pull the switch there to raise a ladder, then use this ladder after pulling the switch again to get the second Cadeaux.

Nephilim Shard
The Nephilim Shard is given to you by Duncan the first time you see him; immediately after you find Jaunty and the ten bird skulls.

Shadow Gun and watch
You find the Shadow Gun and Mike's watch in the sepulcher, which is where Duncan sends you. It takes a while until you get there.

Defeating most enemies and Bosses
Circle around the enemy or Boss by pressing either Left on both Analog-sticks or Right on both Analog-sticks. This will make you surround the enemy or boss while keeping your view on it. Then, shoot them with any weapon. If it flies press Right Analog-stick Down slightly, so you can watch it while it flies.

Run backwards
After you have the Watch and the Sniper Rifle, look through the sight then press Select. Get the Watch and switch to Shadowman or Mike. As you are transforming, holster your weapons. Your sight is still there. Press "Reset Camera" or you will run backwards.

Defeating the Last Master
The Last Master has three forms. The first two are easy -- shoot him and kill him. The last form is difficult. You have to shoot the tank under him and destroy it. He will fall down. Make sure you hit his face when he falls down. His armor is weak when you shoot him. However, it is difficult to shoot him when he falls down because the gears are moving. Be careful, as they may crush you. When the boss gets up, the tank that is under him regenerates and you have to destroy it again. Repeat this process until he is defeated. Note: Shooting his face has no effect.

When first starting out in story mode, choose a tank and battle with it to gain money. Then once you have a lot of money go to the shops and buy equipment. Equip it and save the game. You will now able to customize it with any gear desired.

Alternate route
When you get to the point where you have the option to do the Naldnick level at night using night parts, do not do so, If you do, you will have to do a very difficult city level where you must destroy blockhouses without damaging the town. Instead, do the other level you have access to. Then, do Naldnick at Daytime. You will then skip the blockhouse level altogether.

You are now able to go through the door that was blocked by steam.

Easy AI in Hell difficulty
This glitch is the same one from Dynasty Warrior 4: Xtreme Legends. It lowers the enemies' AI so that it attacks and blocks a lot less frequently. However, the strength, HP and defense remain at original values.
1. Create game in normal, hard or hell difficulty.
2. Save after the game begins.
3. Change difficulty to easy.
4. Restart saved game and note the change in the AI.

Easy Last Weapons (JP Version Only)
In 1P, you will need to fulfill a character's unique requirements in order to get his/her last (5th) weapon. But using 2 players, you can use a character with an easier requirement to get another character's last weapon. For example, Sanada Yukimura's requirements are really tough. You can get his last weapon in any other character's story using 2 players. This is obviously not intended by the game because you are getting the "wrong" 5th weapon.
1. Choose Free Mode. Hard or hell difficulty.
2. Choose the character you want the 5th weapon for as 1P.
3. Choose the character you're most comfortable with as 2P.
4. Choose the stage in which 2P can get his/her 5th weapon.
5. Fulfill 2P's requirements to get his/her 5th weapon.
6. When supply team appears, let 1P take the weapon dropped by its captain.
7. Finish the stage, and you'll find that you got 1P's 5th weapon instead of 2P's.

Sanada Yukimuru's 5th weapon
Stage: Summer Campaign at Osaka Castle. Method: Complete all missions without failing, then get a 1000 K.O. count message. A supply team will appear by the south west gate and head towards the middle gate. Defeat the captain and you shall have the weapon.

Kuniochi's 5th weapon
Stage: Rescue at Ueda Castle. Method: Get to the fifth level of the castle in less than 4-5 minutes. A special item message should appear. Go to where Sanada and Hanzo are fighting and do not enter the room where they are fighting go to the one on the left and there will be two treasure boxes there one regular weapon and the other one your special weapon. Do this fast before Sanada Retreats and the stage will end. You don't even have to kill anyone.

Musket In Edit Mode
To unlock the musket in edit mode you have to get to expert on archery and complete expert with a rating of PERFECT. Then select Archery again and Magoichi will appear and challenge you. Defeat him and your edit character will have musket. Note: This may only work on the Japanese version of the game.
Magoichi can kill you very easy when he get to low life and he becomes almost invulnerable to all attacks, the best tactic in killing him is to get your self on red life and keep running away from him until your muosu is full, then use your muosu attack on him this should kill him if Magoichi is on low life.

On one of the levels when you are in "Hell", you will come across two gremlins trapped in cages. There is a gremlin that is in the hanging cage with the lever in front of it, if you press the lever the cage will drop down a little bit, hop down with it, and there will be another lever and a furnace. Press the lever and a giant flame will come out of the furnace and fry the gremlin! Its pretty funny.

More Rune Power
In Sutlr's Sridge, if you jump on the right ledge at the beginning of the level and go all the way back to the right, there is a ledge just below you. If you look straight down you can see it. Go to the left on the lower ledge and jump on the chain in front of you and then climb to the top, you can jump to the next chain. on the second chain, go all the way up, and jump to the platform with the rune of lesser power on it. Now, if you look back to the ledge you came from, you can see another rune of lesser power. to get back to the ledge, repeat the sequence with the chains starting with the second one. expect more secrets, cheats, and helpful tidbits as I progress.

Score tries from scrummages (scrums)
To score a try from a scrum is easy, although you need to be quite close to the oppositions' try-line respectively within the 22 metre line. Firstly feed the ball into the scrum like you would in a normal scrum. Then drive using the Circle button. Keep driving but do not hook the ball as this will turn it into free-play. When you get to the oppositions' try-line immediately press X to dive on the ball. You have now scored an easy try.

Save trade points
When creating a player (Fly Half) in roster management with a 100% goal kicking as well as 100% tactical kicking attributes, he will cost you more than 70 trade points. Rather list his playing positions from 1 to 3 as: 1. Centre; 2. Fly Half; 3. Whatever.
